What's Wrong With This Picture?

What's wrong with this picture? Why would that big kid take a tricycle away from a little kid? Is that what's happening? Who knows.

I can tell you they are brothers. I can tell you they love each other. I can tell you that under no circumstances would the bigger boy would be mean to the little one. I'm hoping that one of my daughters remember this photo op and 'splain it to me'. I think it was a family reunion, and probably the little blue thing on the side was what the little guy was riding.

But I found it and thought it was a hoot. But whatever had happened, the little guy was not a happy camper. And also, the bigger boy is definitely too big to be riding that trike, which may have belonged to him years earlier.

The little guy is now almost 11 years old, and the bigger boy is 23. I'm sure neither of them would be thrilled to know I've posted this picture. But then they probably won't unless daughter #1 tells them. She happens to be their mother, and will probably have a comment to make.

We're beginning to prepare for our family reunion which will be Memorial Day Weekend. I am already looking forward to seeing everyone. I have only two brothers, no sisters, except those I've adopted over the years. One brother lives in Kentucky, the other in Mississippi. We talk on the phone, and email some, but I'm always happy to see them face to face. If everyone in my immediate family comes we'll total 20. That includes children, spouses and in my case, grandchildren.

We'll also have some cousins on both sides of the family spend some time with us, and our step-parents will be there. I'm thinking there may be another 20. I may have to get more tables.

Do you have family reunions in which you participate? Tell me some of the things you do for fun. I really need to know.

I must say that I do not remember this picture but boy is Will not happy. He must get it from his Auntie Tara. You know, he says she's not a happy shopper! I still don't know what that means either. Speaking of my younger sis, she called me last night wanting money for her children! She only asked for $10 for the both of them. Can you believe she'd sell those precious girls so cheap? I see DHS in her future! (because I'm calling them)

What a cute picture... it's true a picture says a thousand words! Too cute!!! That's definitely one to hang on the fridge - for all to see! LOL

We don't do family reunions because there's noone left to reunite! :) I only have one sister and all that I have left living is my mother, grandmother, and sister. I do remember as a child we would have a big time with extended family and there was always a game of volleyball for everyone to enjoy.

Hmm..I don't remember that either. Maybe Jerry does, though. I'm sure the little evil one could think up a good story to go along with it even though he couldn't remember it.

Hey..my girls are worth way more than $10. Just for your comments, I'm marking you down for a $30 donation to St. Jude Hospital for #1's Trike-a-thon and #2's Booty-shake-a-thon!

Since we'll be in our new house by Memorial Day (God help us all if we aren't), maybe we can all congregate there on Sunday afternoon.

Great picture! I bet the older boy got off quite quickly after some of that younger "screaming!"

HA!
