I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. I'm thankful that I have lots of leftovers. I won't have to cook for a few days. I'm very tired. I love my family, they were all here. We cooked, we ate, they shot fireworks. I love making memories with my children and grandchildren.
I'm going back to bed. Wake me Sunday morning in time to go to church.
Have a great Saturday. Do something silly. Make someone laugh.
I'm a 61 year old mother of three grown children and 6 grandchildren. I live in a southern state, and work in the information technology field. I enjoy sewing, and love antiques.

I hardly cooked yesterday (just a big pasta salad and some brownies) and we sort of "played it by ear" all day, without big plans. It sounds as if you, on the other hand, were kept very busy - the best kind of busy though! Get some rest! :)

Amen sister, I second everything you just said. I am worn out, still had a mess to clean up today, loved seeing everyone, but I am TIRED. I stayed up till 1:30 and don't want to do anything today. I had fun, but being the hostess is a lot of work and I missed out on a lot of fireworks.. there will be a change in things for next year!!! Have a restful weekend. glad you had a memory making day.
