Bacon, Tomato Dip

A friend introduced me to this dip. She calls it bacon, tomato dip, and it tastes like a blt, only richer. I've been making it for some years now, and brought it to work today for a co-worker's birthday:

Bacon, Tomato Dip

1 pkg bacon fried crisp (I use the 12 oz pkg)
1 tomato, peeled, seeds removed
16 oz mayonnaise - not miracle whip
16 oz sour cream
1 round pkg King's Hawaiian Bread

I put the tomato and bacon in my food processer and pulse it till it's chopped pretty finely. You can crumble and chop if you want to.

Add to the mayo and sour cream. Mix well.

Chill mixture.

To serve, cut bread into cubes to use for dipping.

If you don't like the bread(#1daughter), use whatever chips you like.

This dip is finger lickin good. And it's so easy to make.

I hope you are having a good Veteran's Day. If you know one, be sure to tell him/her how much you appreciate what they did for us. Pray for our country. Love one another.

Oh my goodness! This dip sounds like something my family would LOVE! I'm definitely giving this little dip a trial run this weekend.

One of these days I'm going to show up on your doorstep as your long lost daughter(ready to eat)... tell the other two - they've got new competition! LOL

Have a blessed Thursday!

I would have to make this when the Captain wasn't around.
He LOVES bacon and would hog the whole thing. That is if I got the bacon into it in the first place.
