We used to have a water well when we lived in Enid and could water all we wanted. The water was cold, cold cold and tasted good right from the hose. We even had it fixed that when we watered the yard the water would first run through pipes in the house flooring and would cool the house or at least the tiles. Ok, but not now. So now we have a brown yard, (remember we have three acres) the leaves are turning brown and falling from the trees a if it were autum. But in all of this yucky stuff, we have at least cooled as well. And that I can handle!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12881554728710759245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30454920.post-61099946788996838882008-08-15T16:25:00.000-05:002008-08-15T16:25:00.000-05:00How funny! Our first house was on a septic tank, and even when our grass was green, you could still see the grass on the lateral lines was higher and greener.

We've had a lot of rain in NW Arkansas this year. There's been a constant rumble this afternoon, but it's only managed a light sprinkle.

At least our triple digit temps ended a week or so ago.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30454920.post-85049683268524131352008-08-15T13:16:00.000-05:002008-08-15T13:16:00.000-05:00We need rain bad!! We try to water the garden some-but we have to watch the level of water we have as well as the expense. Hope you get some rain!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
